“THE MADNESS”

(January - February 2011)

The holiday season has come and gone. However, the NCAA mens basketball tournament is something to look forward to... This famous basketball tournament is called “March Madness.” During the month of March 64 of the best college basketball teams go head to head, and when its over just ONE champion stands at the top. 

For the month of January and February Xcellerated Performance employees are going head to head against each other in a tournament of our own, with awesome prizes awarded to winners along the way. At the end of this 8 week period a champion will stand at the top. Let THE MADNESS begin...

Make sure you understand the rules, ask questions if you don't. The tournament will run from January 3rd  to February 28th (8 weeks). The brackets will be set up and organized by random selection. You will go head to head against your opponent for an 11 day period. Since you may not work all 11 days and may have some slow days, we will score your best 5 days during the 11 day period. If your point total is higher than your opponents you win a prize and move on to the next opponent. 

There are 2 ways to score points:

1. “2 POINTERS” - By upselling customers. (For each additional product you sell to a customer you get 2 points.)

Example: You do three transaction during your shift. One is a 3 band transaction, one is a 2 band        transaction, and one is a 1 band transaction.You get 6 points for the three additional bands you sold.

1. “3 POINTERS” - By improving on your daily sales average. (Your daily average for weekdays and weekends will be computed for the period of November 15th to December 15th. For every $10 above your average you get 3 points.)

Example: Your daily average for weekdays is $200 and on a Monday you do $220. You get 6 points (3x2=6) for your $20 increase on your weekday average. 

Example: Your daily average for weekends is $800 and on a Saturday you do $900. You get 30 points (3x10) for your $100 increase from your weekend average.

Once your eliminated from the tournament you can compete against yourself for a chance to win some cool prizes. Once you are eliminated you start out at 0 points and can build up points from that point forward. You can build up points based on the same scoring system used in The Madness Tournament and can earn the following prizes.

500+ Points: $50 Visa Gift Card
